You can access tasks on the

View System Notifications

report to create monitors that notify you when a Workday metric reaches a specified criteria.

Task	Description
Create System Monitor Notification	You can configure Workday to monitor resource usage and traffic volume. Example: You configure Workday to notify you when the user count is greater than 100.
Create Schedule Notification	You can configure Workday to monitor scheduled future processes, such as recurring processes. Example: You want Workday to monitor a process scheduled to run at 14:00:00 every Thursday and to notify you when the process fails. If you don’t see an expected object, it's because you can create alerts only for objects you have security access to.
Create BP Notification	You can configure Workday to monitor critical active processes and one-off tasks and to notify you if the job fails. Workday automatically deletes the task when it completes.
Create Notification Configuration for Background Process	You can configure Workday to monitor background processes. You can monitor a custom list of background process types, or all background process types. You can limit the notification to specific recipients, trigger the notification on specific statuses, or rigger the notification after a specific number of minutes.

Metric Type	The resources that Workday monitors, including: Active User Sessions . Background Queue Length . Background Task Throughput . UI Queue Length . UI Task Throughput .
Filter	Workday displays options in this prompt only for queue length and throughput metrics and enables you to create monitors for specific queue types, including: Notifications Queue Length . Read Queue Height . Update Queue Length .
Direction	You can configure Workday to notify when a metric is below or greater than a specified threshold.
Threshold	Workday sends a notification when the metric exceeds the Threshold value.
Notify When Recovered	You can select this check box so Workday notifies you when the value of the metric returns to the threshold.

Threshold Duration	Workday alerts you when the process runtime exceeds this value. Enter zero when you want to receive only a success or failure alert.
Background Process Status	Select for which status Workday notifies you: Fail or Complete .

Create Notification Configuration for Background Process

Option	Description
Notification Receiver	Sends notifications to an individual.
Threshold Duration (in minutes)	Specify the length of time after the start of a process that you want Workday to send a notification. This option supports notifications for long-running processes.
Background Process Status	(Optional) Limits notifications to one of 2 statuses, Completed or Failed .
Create Automatic System Monitor Snapshot	If selected, Workday creates a system snapshot automatically when Workday triggers a notification.
