Steps: Create Engagement Categories

  • Identify or create the security group that you want to assign to the segment-based security group.
  • Security:
    Set Up: Campaign Type Categories
     domain in the System functional area.
You can use engagement categories to:
  • Group engagements by organizational topic.
  • Restrict access to engagement types for selected admin security groups.
  1. Access the
    Create Campaign Category
     task.
    1. Select your security group in the
      Security Groups
      field.
    2. From
      Access to Segments > Create
      , select
      Create Campaign Category Security Segment
      .
    3. From the
      Create Campaign Category Security Segment
       prompt, select the
      Campaign Type
      and select your
      Campaign Category
      .
  3. Edit Domain Security Policies.
    1. Grant the segment-based security group permissions to the
      Administer Campaigns
       domain.
  4. Configure the
    Campaign Event
     business process and security policy in the System functional area.
  5. Activate Pending Security Policy Changes.
You can select your engagement category in the
Engagement Category
 field from the
Engagement Details
 prompt when creating a new engagement.
