Add Help Text for Personal Information

Security:
Set Up: Contact Info, IDs, and Personal Data
 domain in the Contact Information functional area.
Configure help text for personal information sections and fields by country. You can add help text to explain the reason for collecting personal information.
  1. Access the
    Maintain Personal Information Help Text
     task.
  2. Select a
    Country
     and click
    OK
    .
  3. Enter and format help text for Workday-delivered and configurable personal information fields and sections as needed.
    If you opted in to the change personal information new user experience, use Quick Tips to configure field-level help text for personal information fields. See Steps: Configure QuickTips using Guidance Workspace.
  4. Click
    OK
    .
Help text displays in sections and fields to guide users entering self-identification data.
To review personal information help text for a country, access the
View Personal Information Help Text
 report, and select the
Country
.
