Set Up Scheduling Events

in the Labor Optimization functional area.
Set Up Innovation Services for Labor Optimization.
You can set up scheduling events to:
  • Enable the machine learning model to incorporate holidays and events that impact consumer spending habits into the labor demand forecasts to make more informed predictions.
  • Set one-time overrides of operating hours for a single day.
  1. Access the
    Create Scheduling Event Calendar for Scheduling Organization
     task. As you complete the task, consider:
    Option
    Description
    Scheduling Organizations
    Select one or more scheduling organizations that will use this scheduling event calendar when generating forecasts.
    Scheduling Event Name
    Enter the event name. Example: New Year’s Eve
    Reoccurring Event Tag
    (Optional) Specify if this is a recurring event by creating a new recurring event tag or by selecting an existing reoccurring event tag.
    Event Date
    Enter the date of the event.
    Start Time
    End Time
    Closed
    Specify the operating hours on the day of the event, or select
    Closed
     if the location will be closed on this date.

  • View Scheduling Event Calendar
