Change Time Kiosk Settings

Set up the Workday Time Kiosk app.
Workday recommends that you update tablet settings other than language by using Time Kiosk templates. If you set up your Time Kiosk tablet before 2026-07-10, we recommend that you create Time Kiosk templates, download the latest version of the Workday Time Kiosk app, and reset your tablets using the templates.
On tablets that were set up using Time Kiosk templates, you can use the
Settings
 page on the tablet to:
  • Change the language.
  • Clear cached data.
  • Enable or disable precise time tracking.
To change other settings, update the Time Kiosk template.
On tablets that were set up without Time Kiosk templates, you can manually update Workday Time Kiosk settings, such as:
  • Employee ID type.
  • Language.
  • Time zone.
  • Location
     and
    Cost Center
     worktag values.
Workday will use these settings when recording time clock events on the kiosk.
  1. Sign in to the Workday Time Kiosk.
  2. Access the
    Settings
     page.
    ign in using your organization ID name as the password.
  3. Update the settings.
    If your tablet was set up without a Time Kiosk template, to use alphanumeric employee IDs, toggle off
    Numeric Employee ID
    .
