Configure the

business process and security policy in the .You can automate the termination of benefits when you terminate an employee by adding the
Change Benefit Elections
action step to the Termination
business process. When you add this step to the business process, Workday automatically applies the If There Is an Effect on Employee Benefits condition rule to determine whether a termination results in a loss of benefits based on both:
- Benefit group.
- Benefit plan eligibility rules.
- From the related actions menu of theTerminationbusiness process, select .
- Select an effctive date and clickOK.
- Add the action to the business process definition. action and set the value ofOptionaltoNo.
- On theTypeprompt, selectAction.
- On theSpecifyprompt, selectChange Benefit Elections.
- Clear theOptionalcheck box.
- On theGroupprompt, select the role that will complete the benefits termination task. Examples:Benefits PartnerorBenefits Administrator.

When you terminate an employee, Workday routes an enrollment task to the roles you select the
