Manage Multiple Customer Invoices at Once

domain in the Customer Accounts functional area.As a collector, you might want to perform operations on several customer invoices at once to save time. This task enables you to take these actions for multiple company and customers:
- Add a follow-up date and note. You can later use this field as a filter in any of the delivered collections report. You can also use follow-up date to create a custom report for internal notification purposes.
- Add or remove holds from payment application.
- Exclude all or specific invoices from dunning.
- Put all or specific invoices in collection. You can also specify the collection date, collection code, and payment amount promised.
- Put all or specific invoices in dispute. You can also specify the partial or full dispute amount, dispute date, and dispute reason.
- Access theManage Customer Invoicestask.You can search for all invoices in your tenant, or specify any criteria to filter them for 1 or multiple customers. You can also save your filters for future use.
- Select the action that you want to perform on the retrieved invoices.When you use theHold from Paymentoption, it applies to invoices with electronic payment types and invoices that aren’t processed by settlements.
- Enter details for your action choice in theUpdates to Applysection as needed.
- Select all or specific invoices that you want to apply the changes to.You can edit fields directly in the grid after selection to override the default values inherited by theUpdates to Applysection.
Workday displays a confirmation page with the details of the invoices impacted by your action.
