You can define a
Floor
as the amount of revenues to be recorded before the budget spending authority begins increasing for your revenue driven budget rules. You can also define a Ceiling
amount as the maximum amount the budget spending authority can increase to from the recorded revenue for your revenue driven budget rules.- Access theCreate Revenue Driven Budget Ruletask.As you complete the task, consider:OptionDescriptionCeilingEnter a maximum amount that the budget spending authority can increase to.FloorEnter a minimum amount of recorded revenues before the budget spending authority begins increasing.Effective DateWorkday:
- Recommends setting theEffective Datethe same as thePlan Date.
- Only considers revenue transactions from theEffective Dateonward.
- Won’t retroactively consider revenue lines prior to theEffective Date. This includes calculations forFloorandCeiling.

report to view the:
- Total recorded revenue compared to the floor and ceiling.
- Increased target budget.
- Recorded revenue.
