Manage and Review Org Model Scenarios

  • If you’re not an org model owner, ensure that an org model owner shares the model with you.
  • Security:
    • Manage: Org Models
       domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
    • Participate: Org Models
       domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
As an administrator, org model owner, or an org model participant, you can access the
Org Models and Scenarios
 dashboard to:
  • Copy scenarios to create alternative versions of your plan. Only administrators or owners can copy scenarios. You can only create copies using this dashboard.
  • Launch the scenario so you can access the same visual org modeling interface that your collaborators use.
  • Compare scenarios or organizations within scenarios to view differences in headcount, cost, and structure side-by-side. You can only compare scenarios or organizations using this dashboard.
  • Review any changes made to the scenarios since the scenarios were first created.
  1. Access the
    Org Models and Scenarios
     dashboard.
  2. Find your org model on either of these tabs:
    • My Models
      . We display models that you own on this tab.
    • Shared with me
      . We display models that owners shared with you on this tab.
  3. Use the
    Actions
     menu for a scenario:
    Option Description
    Copy
    Select to create an exact copy of this scenario, including any changes made since it was first created. As the org model owner, you can edit the scenario before you share it with additional participants.
    We only display the scenario description on the main page of the
    Org Models and Scenarios
     dashboard.
    Security:
    Manage: Org Models
     domain in the Adaptive Planning for the Workforce functional area.
    Launch
    Select to access the visual org modeling interface. Owners can edit the scenario before or at the same time as additional participants.
    Compare
    Select to compare either:
    • A scenario with 1-2 additional scenarios on this model using the same or different organizations.
    • Organizations within a scenario by selecting the same scenario on the other scenario fields and different organizations.
    Review Changes
    Select to review all changes made to the scenario since it was created. If no changes exist, we display navigation buttons that enable you to access the scenarios or go back.
