Example: Build a Modeled Sheet for Quantity Per Customer
This example illustrates how to build a modeled sheet that tracks how many products each of your customers purchase.
You want to track how many total products each customer purchases per time period. To keep the sheet simple, you don't want to track which products they purchase.
You then want to use the data you collect in this sheet to drive calculations on a merged cube sheet. The merged cube sheet calculates the revenue for each customer per product.
- Create the Customer dimensions. See Example: Create Product and Customer Custom Dimensions.
- Security:Model includes sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulaspermission.
- SelectModelingfrom the main menu.
- ClickLevel Assigned Sheets.
- ClickNew Sheet.
