Add Exchange Rates

Add Exchange Rates

To add the exchange rates, you must either import them through Integration or manually enter them into the
Currency Exchange Rates Sheet
 in the
Currencies
 area of
Modeling
. You must include exchange rates for every:
  • Currency to your corporate currency .
  • Exchange rate type.
  • Reporting currency to your corporate currency.
When the currency exchange rate is empty for time periods, the time periods display zero.
To import currency exchange rates, go to
Integration
>
Import Data
.
  1. Select
    Modeling
     from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Currencies
    .
  3. To open the sheet, from the
    Currencies
    section, click the
    Enter Currency Exchange Rates
    .
  4. To get to the appropriate cells use any of these options:
    • Display Options
      : Filters the columns by time and click
      OK
      .
    • Search
      : Start typing to locate matches on the sheet. Click the magnifying glass to find the next match.
    • Show
      : Select options from the prompts to filter the rows and click
      Filter
      .
  5. Enter the exchange rates for the period, currency pair, and exchange rate.
  6. Click
    Save
    .
Adaptive Planning applies the exchange rates to currency conversions up the level hierarchy and in reports.
