View and Run Integration Tasks

  • Verify that someone with the
    Data Designer
permission sets up the tasks you want to view.
  • Verify that someone with the

Integration tasks are predefined sets of actions created as an import flow. Tasks can contain multiple data sources, multiple loaders, or other tasks. The overview page displays:
  • All existing scheduled and unscheduled tasks that you can view or run.
  • Historical task runs.
  1. Select
    Integration
    from the main menu.
  2. Select
    Manage Integrations
    .
  3. (Optional) Use the filters to change the data we display on both views.
  4. (Optional) Use the switch to toggle between viewing:
    • The list of tasks.
    • Historical task runs.
  5. Click on a task to:
    • Access the ability to run the task manually.
    • View more task details.
  6. To run the task manually, select
    Run Task
and provide any task run parameters:
    • Tasks for spreadsheet data sources prompt for a file.
    • Tasks for scripted data sources might prompt for runtime parameters.
If you have a scripted data source or loader, Workday automatically populates the parameter with the default value, which you can override for that individual manual run. Scheduled tasks use the default parameter.
  7. To stop a running task, select
    Cancel
    .
