Example: Create Modeled Sheets for CRM Data for Sales Planning

  • Create your levels.
  • Create your sales representative and geography dimensions, and create their dimension values.
As part of territory planning, use modeled sheets to hold your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data. The benefits of using modeled sheets to store the sales data include:
  • You can have more than 5 modeled sheets for the data.
  • You can use defined sales regions to map to composites of your sales dimensions.
  1. Create a blank modeled sheet by selecting

    The
    Level
column automatically displays in the canvas when you create modeled sheets. You manually drag and drop all other columns from the
    Elements
pane onto the center pane to configure other columns.
