Create Perspectives

Create Perspectives

Security:
Edit Dashboards
 permission.
Perspectives group dashboards and charts that usually focus on a common function. Example: finance or sales. When you create a perspective, it's personal by default, which means no one else can view it. You can share your perspective with others. All perspectives that you create or have access to display in the
All Perspectives
 folder.
From any of the folders, you can:
  • Click the column headers to sort the perspectives in ascending or descending order by
    Name
    ,
    Created by
    , or
    Created Date
    .
  • Hover over a perspective name display and click the
    Actions Menu
     icon on the right.
  1. Select
    Dashboards
     from the main menu.
    You start on the
    All Perspectives
     folder, a collection of perspectives that you have access to.
  2. Click
    Add New
    .
  3. Enter a name.
    The perspective opens with a single dashboard tab with the name
    Dashboard
    .
  4. When prompted, select a perspective level filter.
Add charts and dashboards.
