Set the Initial View of Cube Sheets

Security:
Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulas
 permission.
The initial view is how the cube sheet looks to all users when you or anyone first opens it. Set the initial view to make a large or cumbersome sheet more accessible for your team. Your team members can still change their default sheet view.
  2. From the sheet summary, click
    Dimension, Attributes, and Levels
    .
  3. From the canvas toolbar, click the gear icon.
  4. Click the
    Initial View
     tab.
  5. As you complete the fields, consider:
    Opção Descrição
    Horizontal
    Click the dimension you want to display across the columns.
    Vertical
    From the first prompt, click the dimension you want to display down the rows. The remaining prompts control the order of the cube filters. The second prompt is the first cube filter and so on.
    Max column width
    Enter the maximum number of pixels for the columns.
    Suppress rows if all zeros or blank
    Hide or reveal rows that either have all zeros, all blanks, or a combination of both. If you hide blank or zero rows, team members can use the
    Add Row
     button to find blank cells for data entry.
  6. Save the sheet.
  7. Go to
    Sheets
     and open the sheet.
    Security:
    Access Sheets
     permission.
  8. Click the
    Display Options
     button.
  9. As you update the display options, consider:
    Opção Descrição
    Start and End
    The time range displayed on the sheet.
    Time period check boxes
    The different time periods and rollups displayed on the sheet.
    Suppress rows if all zeros or blanks
    Hide or reveal rows that have all zeros, all blanks, or a combination.
    Additional tabs
    There's a tab for each dimension on the sheet, including levels and accounts. You can select which values you want to display in the filters, rows, or columns.
    Sparklines
    Adds a column that displays a line or bar chart of the data. You can drag points on the chart to change the data in the sheet.
  10. Click the
    Set as a default for all users
     check box.
  11. Click
    OK
     and save the sheet.
The sheet displays exactly as you defined for all users who open the sheet for the first time. The
Reset to Default View
button in the cube sheet toolbar also reverts to the initial view that you set.
You can continue building or changing the sheet.
