Create Geo Maps
- Edit access to a personal or shared perspective.

- Edit Dashboardspermission.
Geo maps visualize data with circles based on geographical locations. Geo maps can work with any accounts that associate to dimensions with dimensions values that:
- Have custom properties.
- Contain geographic coordinate information in custom properties.
- SelectDashboardsfrom the main menu.
- Select a perspective.
- SelectEditto put your dashboard in edit mode.
- DragGeo MapfromChartsto the design area.
- Enter a name for the geo map inAppearance settings.
- SelectData settings.
- Select an account from a modeled or cube sheet that contains ageo dimension.A geo dimension contains:
- Dimension values with geo regions.
- Custom properties.
- A list dimension.
- A hierarchical dimension.
- Select aGeo Dimensionand theLatitude PropertyandLongitude Property.
- (Optional) Add additional accounts.Circles partially overlap when data points share geographic coordinates.
- (Optional) SelectData seriesand select accounts to hide or visualize.
- (Optional) Sort or limit account data.Example: Sort and limit the data on your geo map to display the top 10 countries with highest GDP. Sorts and limits don't support breakdown.
- (Optional) SelectBreakdownby time or dimension withinData Settingsfor in-depth analysis.Colors assign automatically to circles for a breakdown series. Breakdowns remove sorts or limits.Example: SelectTerritory Assignmentas a breakdown dimension to analyze territory assignments.
- SelectDone.
