Configure Interoperability with MS SQL Server Integrated Security

While connecting to a MS SQL Server database through the Microsoft Dynamics GP preconfigured adapter, there may be a requirement to interoperate with the MS SQL Server Integrated Security feature. For integration to work with the Integrated Security feature:
  1. Configure the
    Log On
     property of the Data Agent service to use a domain user (there must be a \ in the account name). The
    Password
    and
    Confirm Password
     fields should contain the password values for the configured domain user.
  2. In the Microsoft Dynamics GP adapter configuration in the Data Designer, enter \ in the
    Username
    field and welcome in the
    Password
    field. These values trigger integration to use the credentials entered in the data agent service
    Log On
     credentials to connect to the MS SQL Server database. The values entered within the data designer will not be used to connect to the source database.
