Delete Unused Dimensions Values in Bulk

Delete Unused Dimensions Values in Bulk

The
Remove
import option lets you delete only the unused dimension values that you include in your import file. Unused dimension values are either:
  • Not being used at all in the model.
  • Being used in ways that don't block you from removing them. Example: They might be in a report.
The import leaves dimension values that are in-use alone. Used dimension values display with blue dots in the dimension list. The blue dot means that you must resolve dependencies before removing the dimension value.
We recommend that you resolve all dependencies before you remove any dimension value, even when it's not required.

  • Filled out the template correctly.
  • Didn't include dimension values that are in use.
When you deleted all the values of a dimension, consider also deleting the dimension manually.
