Reference: Sheet Properties for Cube Sheets

To find the cube sheet settings, click the
Dimension, Attributes, and Levels
link from the sheet summary. Then click the gear button from the toolbar. The
Settings
dialog has 3 tabs.

Detail Tab

Option
Description
Name
Identifies the sheet name.
Description
(Optional) Describes the sheet purpose.
Code
Used as prefix for all the accounts in the sheet.

Settings Tab

Option
Description
Select the time strata associated with this cube
Not available with legacy calendars.
Indicates the smallest period displayed on the sheet. Options depend on your calendar setup. Typically:
Month
,
Quarter
,
Year
.
Rearrange GL and custom accounts
Available for regular cube sheets only.
Removes the cube root account.
Hide rollup totals to improve sheet performance
Hides account rollups to decrease the load time of the sheet.
Source Modeled Sheets
Available for merged cube sheets only.
Contains list of all modeled sheets. Click the check boxes to pull the dimensions of the source sheet into the merged cube. You can select up to 3 sheets total between both Source Modeled Sheets and Source Cube Sheets.
Source Cube Sheets
Available for merged cube sheets only.
Contains list of all cube sheets, including other merged cube sheets. Click the check boxes to pull the dimensions of the source sheet into the merged cube. You select up to 3 sheets total between both Source Modeled Sheets and Source Cube Sheets.
Recalculate on Demand
Available for instances with Manual Recalculation enabled.
Stores the results of calculations until users click the
Recalculate Formulas
button from the sheet view.

Initial View Tab

Option
Description
Horizontal
Indicates the dimension that displays across the columns.
Vertical
Indicates the dimension that displays down the rows.
Max column width
Indicates the largest number of pixels for each column.
Suppress rows if all zeros or blanks
Hides rows that have no data.

Scope Tab

The
Scope
tab includes 2 sections with the same options.
Setting the scope provides a time range for calculations on the sheet, which can help improve the sheet performance. See Set the Scope for Calculations in Cube and Modeled Sheets.
Option
Description
Actuals Values
Sets a time range for the calculations on the sheet in actuals versions.
Default: Calculates the formulas on the sheet from the
Start of Version
to the
End of Version
.
Use the prompts to offset the calculation of formulas by the
Completed Values Through
date in the actuals version.
Plan Values
Sets a time range for the calculations on the sheet in plan versions.
Default: Calculates the formulas on the sheet from the
Left Scroll Limit
to the
End of Version
.
Use the prompts to offset the calculation of formulas by the
Start of Plan
date of each plan version.
