FAQ: Replace Mode for Cube or Standard Sheets in Planning Data Loaders

How do I configure an existing loader when its Erase Settings are OFF and it runs in a task with no other loaders?: Select

to replace all of the accounts on the sheet.

and select only the accounts you want to load.

How do I configure an existing loader when its Erase Settings are OFF and it runs in a task that has a sequence of loaders?: When the first loader performs an erase and subsequent loaders only add data, we strongly recommend combining your data sources into a union table. Combining data sources into a union table allows you to run 1 loader to load all of the data sources at once. After combining data sources into a union table, enable replace mode for the loader.

Verify that the first loader in the sequence doesn't delete additional data that subsequent loaders attempt to load. When you select
Enable replace mode
, only replace data at the same data intersections that the loader expects to load.

If the loader generates errors in the logs, contact support for troubleshooting assistance. When the loader successfully runs, but the data doesn't load as expected, review the parameters. The parameters must align with what loads or was previously erased. Support might recommend a services engagement when you encounter log errors you can't resolve.
