Reference: Built-In General Ledger Accounts
Adaptive Planning delivers built-in general ledger accounts with your instance based
on common ledger account hierarchies. You can identify built-in general ledger
accounts in Model Management by seeing if these account details are read-only:
- Rolls up to
- Balance Type
For most built-in general ledger accounts,
Type
is also read-only. You
can change the Type
to Link
for some built-in general
ledger accounts. When you link accounts, you don't functionally change the account
type. Example: Your long-term assets general ledger account is a cumulative account.
When you select Link
on the Type
prompt, the account
stays a cumulative type account. You can't delete built-in general ledger accounts.
Because you can change the names of built-in general ledger accounts, these account
names might differ from the names in your instance. You can still identify the
account using the type.
