Delete Several Plan Versions at Once

  • When the version is the default version, assign another version as the default.
  • Security:
    Versions
     permission.
To improve efficiency, use folders when you need to delete several plan versions at once. When you delete folders, you can't reverse the action. You delete:
  • All the versions in the folder.
  • All the data of those versions.
  • Any related virtual versions.
Don't delete versions when you have other new versions that are in progress.
  1. Select
    Modeling
     from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Versions
    .
  3. In the version list, click any plan version.
  4. From the toolbar, click
    Create new folder
    .
  5. Add any name and save.
  6. From the version list, click the icon of version that you want to delete and drag into the folder icon.
    To drag and drop, you must click the icons.
  7. From the version list, select the folder with the version that you want to delete.
  8. From the toolbar, click
    Delete
    .
