Run History

From the
Predictive Forecaster
page, you can access the history of each forecast listed. To open the history, hover over the forecast until the 3 dots display. Click the 3 dots and select
View History
.

Forecast History Panel

In the
Forecast History
panel, we display a list of runs for the forecast. You can:
  • Check the status of each run at a glance using the icons. Different icons indicate the status, such as failed runs and successful runs.
  • Select a run to review the parameters and the status.
When you click a run from the
Forecast History
section, we display the
Parameters
and
Status
sections.

Parameters Section

The
Parameters
section displays the forecast definition. The definition includes details like the:
  • Sheet.
  • Time range.
  • Version.
  • Algorithm.
  • Time it took for completed forecasts to run.
We only display the
Confidence Metrics
tab when you select at least 1 of these options for the forecast:
  • Probability Range
: Displays a line chart that illustrates the predictions with the upper and lower ranges of probability.
  • Accuracy Metric
: Displays a KPI percent illustrating the accuracy results of back-testing the algorithm against existing actuals. A low percent in this KPI could indicate that you should try a different algorithm for your forecast.
  • Forecast Explanation
    .
You can use filters to view the data in different ways from this subsection.
When you enable Forecast Explanation, we display in the
Confidence Metrics
tab:
  • A chart that represents how seasonality, trend, and residual components (when applicable) contribute to the forecasted values.
  • A chart that represents the impact of levers on the forecast and the impact percentages of each component and lever, when available.
  • Text that describes the chart components.

Status Section

The
Status
displays:
  • In Progress
runs, we display the percent of completion.
  • Failed
runs, we display a list of errors that can help you troubleshoot before running the forecast again.
