Create Accounts Groups for Cube Sheets

permission.Adding account groups to cube sheets is optional. Use account groups to organize the cube sheet accounts so you can find them easily when using formula assistant or building reports and charts. On the sheet, you can expand and collapse the groups to manage a large cube sheet. Account groups don't display rollup values of their accounts.
Your cube sheet comes with a "root" account group, which has the same name as the sheet. You can't edit the name of the "root" group and it doesn't appear on the sheet. All the cube accounts on the sheet roll up to this root, except general ledger and custom accounts.
To integrate general ledger and custom accounts, remove the root group account using the sheet settings.
- From the sheet summary, clickCube Accounts.
- Click theCreate new groupbutton from the toolbar.
- Enter uniqueCodeand aName.
- ForStart Expanded, select:
- No: The account group displays collapsed in the sheet.
- Yes: The account group displays expanded in the sheet.
- To add accounts to groups, select the group from the list before selecting the create account buttons. Or, in the settings of accounts, choose the group from theRolls up todrop-down prompt.
The group displays in the account list and in the sheet.
The Sales Details account group is on the Revenue cube sheet. The group includes the Units, Discount %, and Discounted Price accounts.
Create cube accounts and add them to the groups.
