Steps: Change Locales on Your Calendar
- Configure the time structure on your default locale.
- Security:
- Model Management Accesspermission.
- Timepermission.
- Configure Calendarpermission.
A locale is the language for a location and any date, time, or number formatting that's
specific to that location. Example: The United States and Great Britain both use
English. However, the United States uses Month - Day - Year date formatting and
Great Britain uses Day - Month - Year.
Your instance already includes a default locale, and this initial default locale is always set to
English. You can add locales and make any of these other locales your default
locale, or delete locales. You can also change these labels on your default and
nondefault locales:
- Code
- Label
- Short Name
If you use a legacy calendar and change anything about your locales, you change your calendar
to a custom calendar.
