Schedule Machine Learning Forecasts

Schedules automatically run the forecasts you include at intervals that you define. You can add many forecasts to the same schedule. The schedule then runs them in order.
Schedules are particularly important to forecasts with the
Rolling Forecast
check box enabled. A rolling forecast automatically updates the Forecast Start Period
and the Actuals End Period
to align with the Completed Values Through
period of the actuals version. You can schedule the forecast to run around the same time that you generally upload new actuals data. This will ensure that the algorithms references the most updated actuals data. It also ensures that the forecast itself continuously rolls forward, populating more accurate data into more periods.- SelectModelingfrom the main menu.

- ClickAdd Newand selectSchedule.
- As you complete the task, consider:

- Weekly: The forecasts in the schedule run once or more a week.
- Daily: The forecasts in the schedule run once a day.
Day of the MonthAvailable when you selectMonthlyforFrequency.Select the day of the month. When you select31, the schedules skip months with fewer than 31 days. The forecasts skips February when you select a number larger than 28 or 29.Day of the WeekAvailable when you selectWeeklyforFrequency.Click the check boxes next to the weekdays. You can select more than 1.TimeSelect the time of day that you want the forecasts to run.Time ZoneSelect the time zone for the time of day.ForecastsClickAdd Forecaststo select and clear the check boxes next to each forecast name. You can add up to 10 forecasts to a schedule.When you include more than 1 forecasts in the schedule you can:- Drag and drop them to reorder them.
- Click the 3 dots and selectDeleteto remove them from the schedule.
Continue running all forecasts even if one failsSelect this check box when you want the schedule to continue to the next forecasts when 1 fails. Otherwise it stops.
The schedule automatically runs the forecasts.
To check the status of the forecasts in the schedule, click the
Forecast
tab. The status of each forecast displays in the list. You an sort the Schedule
column to quickly view the statuses of all the forecasts in the schedule.From the schedule list, you can hover over the schedule name until the 3 dots display. Click the 3 dots and select:
- Run: Runs the scheduled forecasts ahead of time.
- Edit: Opens theEdit Scheduledialog.
- Pause: Stops the next run until you resume them.
- Resume: Reactivates a paused schedule.
- Delete: Removes the schedule.
