Change Your Adaptive Planning Profile, Home Page, and Email Groups

  • Verify that you have access to sign in to Adaptive Planning. If you don't have access and want to change your personal or contact information in other products or product areas, see:
    • Your organization's documentation to learn how to change this information in your Workday profile. If your organization uses user synced SAML SSO for Adaptive Planning with HCM and Financials, you change this information in your Workday profile.
    • Your organization's documentation to learn how to change this information if your organization doesn't use either Adaptive Planning or Workday for this purpose.
    • Steps: Set Up Contact Information to learn how to set up the contact information infrastructure in Workday for the people in your organization.
  • Security:
    • Access Reports
permission to create and use email groups.
    • Send Notifications
permission to create and use email groups.
From your Adaptive Planning profile page you can:
  • Change your personal information, password, and home page.
  • Change how you send and receive email notifications.
  • Create your own personal email groups.
  • Select your default instance if you have access to more than one.
  1. Click your profile avatar on the top of any page to access the drop-down menu.
  2. From this drop-down menu, select
    View Profile
    .
  3. Complete the
    Personal Info
    section:
    옵션 설명
    Email
Set up a valid email so that you can receive email notifications from Adaptive Planning events. These events can trigger email notifications:
    • Sharing web reports.
    • Sharing perspective snapshots.
    • Process task assignments.
    • Sheets approval using workflows.
    • Success or failure of integration tasks.
When you set up a valid email, you also enable:
    • Other users to include you in personal email groups and send you group emails.
    • Administrators to email you directly from the
      All Users
      page in
      Administration
      .
    You can select
    Use username as email
if your username is an email address.
    Home page
The page you see when you first sign in is the home page your administrator set for you. You can change your home page. The options available to you depend on which areas of Adaptive Planning you have permission to access.
For a dashboards home page, we only display options on the
    Perspective
    and
    Dashboard
prompts if someone shared a perspective with you. If you leave both prompts empty, we automatically display the dashboards overview page as your home page.
  4. Complete the
    Password
    section of the task.
You can change your password only if your administrator configures your instance to allow it. If your administrator allows only SAML SSO for signing in, then you don't see the password reset option in your profile. You can sign in using only your username.
Your administrator also defines any password requirements such as minimum character length, number of alphabetic or numeric characters, and so on.
  5. Complete the
    My Avatar
    section of the task.
By default, we use a picture with these characters from the
    Name
    field of the
    Personal info
    section on this page:
    • The first character of the first text string.
    • The first character of the last text string.
    Example: In the
    Name
field, you enter Maria Teresa García Ramírez de Arroyo. For your avatar, we use a picture with the characters M from Maria and A from Arroyo. If your name only contains 1 string with no spaces, we only use the first character of that string. We support characters that aren't part of the Roman alphabet.
To upload a custom profile picture to use as your avatar, select the second radio button and
    Choose File
    .
  6. To send reports to multiple users at once, configure email groups in the
    Personal Email Groups
    section of the task.
You can select multiple items at once when you create and change groups. Example: To send weekly sales reports to the executive staff, create a group called Sales Report that includes everyone who should receive the report.
