Change Modeled Sheet View

Change Modeled Sheet View

  • To hide columns, ask your administrator to open a customer case to enable the feature. Your administrator must also enable you to hide columns on this specific sheet in
    Model Administration
    .
  • Security:
    Access Sheets
    permission.
For modeled sheets and modeled sheets on dashboards, you can:
  • Use display option filters.
  • Use the toolbar filter.
  • Suppress zeros and blanks.
  • Filter sheet timespan.
  • Display alternate calendars.
  • Hide or unhide columns.
When you save the sheet, the changes save as your preferred view. You can revert to the original default view at any time. From dashboards, the view reverts to the default set by the dashboard owner. From sheets, it reverts to the administrator default.
Your modeled sheets can have a maximum number of viewable rows set up by your administrator. If there's a maximum number of viewable rows, you see an information note at the bottom of the sheet. You can use filters to see different sets of data or minimize the size of the viewable sheet.
  1. (Optional) Use the toolbar filter to:
    • Search for matches in all the columns.
    • Only display records that match, removing all others from view.
When you have active filters in
    Display Options
, your keyword filter finds only matches within those parameters.
When a sheet truncates to limit the viewable records and you filter for keywords, the filter searches for matches beyond the viewable sheet. Example: If your sheet displays 100 of 1,000 records, your keyword filter searches all 1,000 records for matches.
  2. (Optional) To filter rows, select
    Display Options
