Concept: Settings and Options for All Chart types
To enable you to focus on the data in a chart, these icons display above all charts types only when you hover over them:
- Reset to Default. Reverts to the original values and formatting.
- Select Time Period. Provides these actions related to time period that you select for a chart:
- Set the calendar stratum. Enables you to select either month, quarter or year.
- Time period and range. Enables you to select either a single time period or a range.
- Pin and unpin time. Enables you to pin the selected time period to the chart.
- Expand. Displays the chart in expanded form.
- Chart options. Displays the actions available for the chart.
Appearance Settings
In the appearance settings for any chart type, use these setting to control how you display time periods on charts:
- Show Time Period. Enables you to show or hide the time period on a chart.
- Position. Enables you to position the time period next to the chart name or under the chart name.
