Create Advanced Filters for Staging Tables

  • Import your Salesforce structure.
  • Security:
    • Integration Operator
       permission.
    • Data Designer
       permission.
You can use advanced filters to see specific rows that otherwise wouldn't display in the default view of the staging tables. Staging tables display:
  • The top 100 rows by default.
  • A maximum of 1000 rows.
Changing filter properties changes the preview. The filters don't change the data:
  • In the staging area.
  • That loads from the data source into the loaders.
  1. Select
    Integration
    Design Integrations
     from the main menu.
  2. Expand
    Data Sources
     and select the data source.
  3. In the tab of the
    Tables to Import
     section, click the
    Advanced Filters
     prompt.
  4. Add filters.
    As you complete the task, consider:
    Opción Descripción
    Distinct Rows
    Select the check box to hide rows with duplicate data.
    Max Rows
    Enter the number of rows that you want to display in the preview. Maximum rows is 1,000.
    Columns
    Hide and display columns in the preview. Hiding columns from the preview doesn't remove them from the staging table.
    Enter SQL Filter
    Enter SQL expressions to restrict the rows in the preview. Click
    Apply
     to check the SQL syntax of the filter.
  5. Click
    Preview data
     to preview the data.
  6. (Optional) Click
    Remove filter
     to start a fresh view.
