Change Default Locale Labels
- Configure the time structure on your default locale.
- Security:
- Model Management Accesspermission.
- Timepermission.
- Configure Calendarpermission.
Your instance comes with a default locale that we automatically set to English with these labels
already included:
- Code
- Label
- Short Name
You can change these labels on your default and nondefault locales. All of your locales must
share the same code labels. You can only change the code labels by changing the code
labels on your default locale.
You can change your default locale labels even if you:
- Don't change your default locale.
- Added labels to a nondefault locale before you made it your default locale, and you want to change your labels again.
- Have existing data on your sheets and reports. Sheets and reports automatically update with your label changes.
If you need to change the time labels to use another date format or another language, change
the labels on the original default English locale. Regardless of what you add as
your labels, the date format and labels in OfficeConnect change depending on your
local browser. OfficeConnect still knows which labels to use regardless of what
locale it's in because it knows the Excel format, and honors what you import.
