Select Time Periods for Cube Sheets

permission.You can pick which time periods of your calendar display on your cube sheets for the initial view.
- From the sheet summary, clickDimensions, Attributes, and Levels.
- From the canvas, click theTimeelement.
- From theTime Properties, click the time periods you want to display on the sheet.Your options depend on your calendar setup, and the time strata you select from the general settings of the cube sheet.
- (Optional) ClickInitial Balanceto add a column to the sheet for seeding cumulative accounts.
The time dimension displays the time periods you selected for data entry when your team opens the sheet for the first time. Each team member can use the
Display Options
to reveal other time periods. They can save the display options they specified as their default view. They can click the Reset to Default View
button to display the time periods selected. Your calendar has Days, Weeks, Months, and Years. In the cube sheet settings, you indicate
Months
for the Select the time stratum associated with this cube sheet
prompt. In the Time Properties
, you can select Months
and Years
to display on the sheet. Change the time strata setting to Weeks
, and you can select Weeks
, Months
, and Years
to display on the sheet. Click the Year
check box. When your team opens the sheet for the first time, the time dimension displays only years for data entry. The team can use the Display Options
to reveal months and weeks. They can't reveal days because you didn't select it for the time strata in the sheet settings.You can:
- Change the level, account, dimension, and attribute availabilities.
- Continue building or changing the sheet.
