Concept: Suppress Zeros and Blanks
You can hide rows if all the row cells are zero or blank in:
- Cube sheets by using Display Options.
- Standard sheets by using Display Options.
- Modeled sheets by filtering out rows with zeros and blanks using the Filter Rows tab in Display Options.
When you suppress zeros and blanks, you won't be able to enter new data in rows that need
data. In cube sheets, you can add a specific row while keeping the blank and zeros rows
hidden.
When you access
Explore Cell
from sheets, dashboards, and reports,
the contributing details shown in the bottom section of the window are automatically
suppressed if all values are zeros or blanks. You might still see rows with zeros when the zero is a result of:
- Formula errors.
- Rounding from the Decimal Places account setting.
