Reference: Clearing Data in Cells

When you clear data, it can result in:
  • Blanks.
  • Zeros.
Zeros and blanks act differently in formulas that reference the cells.
For level drop-down cells and text selectors in modeled sheets, the only way to clear a cell of the current data is to select a different option.
