Enable SAML SSO

Question

We just purchased SAML SSO. How do I enable SAML and what are the setttings available?

Answer

From Admin > Manage SAML SSO Settings,
Enable SAML
 at the bottom controls how different users can access the system
Not Enabled
  • Standard users will login from the standard Adaptive login page (e.g. https://login.adaptiveplanning.com/app).
  • Admin users with the SAML permission

    can login using SAML SSO or can login using the standard Adaptive login page.
Allow only SAML SSO
  • Standard users can only login using SAML SSO. They cannot login from the login page.
  • Admin users with the SAML permission
    1
    can login using SAML SSO or can login using the standard Adaptive login page
Allow SAML SSO and direct Adaptive Insights login
  • Both Admin users with the SAML permission
    1
    and Standard users can login using SAML SSO or can login using the standard Adaptive login page
