Troubleshooting: Locked Base Version Prevents Scenario Merge

You can't merge scenarios into locked base versions. You can unlock the version with the appropriate permissions based on the error message.
Cause
Solution
The base version is locked in version admin.
Security:
Versions
permission.
  1. Select
    Modeling
     from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Versions
    .
  3. From the version list, select the base version.
  4. In the
    Access Controls
     section, clear the
    Locked Version
     check box.
  5. When the
    Locked Version
     check box is already clear, select
    Full Access
     from the
    Editable Sheet Access
     prompt or the
    Admin
     prompt depending on your user type.
The base version is locked in Workflow.

  1. Select
    Workflow
     from the main menu.
  2. From the version prompt, select the base version.
  3. For the levels that have changes in the scenario, change the status to
    In Progress
     or
    Rejected
