Disconnect Links

Disconnect Links

If needed, you can disconnect a link between
OfficeConnect
for Excel and
OfficeConnect
for PowerPoint. When you do this, the table or chart remains a static object in the slide.
To disconnect a link from
OfficeConnect
for Excel:
  1. In
    OfficeConnect
for PowerPoint, open the presentation that contains the link .
  2. Select
    File > Info
    .
  3. Select
    Edit Links to Files
    .
  4. In the Links dialog box, select the link you want to disconnect.
  5. Select
    Break Link
. The link reference is removed from the Links dialog box.
  6. Click
    Close
    .
The link is now disconnected. The table or chart is still useful on the slide, but will not update with dynamic data from
OfficeConnect
for Excel.
