Workday will retire the capability to include live reports as announcements in a future update. After the retirement, you can continue to create static HTML and text files as announcements. Alternately, you can use:
  • Web report links on dashboards.
  • Process tracker and process guide.
  1. (Optional) Add a shared web report link to a dashboard.
When users click the report link from the dashboard, they either see the live report or go to these pages:
    • Report download page for non-HTML output.
    • Select prompting parameters page for reports with prompting parameters.
  2. (Optional) Enable users to navigate to a process guide from their process management page and view all relevant reports in one place:
    1. Create a process specific to all the reports that are relevant for your users.
    2. Create standard tasks with the
      Content
      option
      Report
and select the relevant reports. Assign the tasks to the appropriate users or user groups.
    3. Enable users to select
      Processes
      as their
      Home page
      option from their profiles.
