FAQ: Why isn't the Dimension Attributes link in the Modeling Area?

When you don't have dimensions that support dimension attributes, the
Dimension Attribute
 link doesn't display.
To make dimensions available for attributes:
  1. Select
    Modeling
     from the main menu.
  2. Click
    Dimensions
    .
  3. From the list of dimensions, highlight the dimension.
  4. In the
    Dimension Details
    , select the
    List dimension
     check box. 
A disabled check box means that the dimension has hierarchical values. To enable the check box, you must flatten the value list so that they're no longer hierarchical.
