Troubleshooting: Accounts Locked on Sheets
Users can't edit the sheet cells of locked accounts. Learn the possible causes and how to unlock the account from the
Modeling
area of Adaptive Planning. Sheet users can also change their sheet views or launch Explore Cell to drill until they find unlocked cells. See #.Cause | Solution |

If the cells on sheets contain blue triangles and the background of the cell is gray, it's a calculated account. We always lock calculated accounts. | For certain calculated accounts, make the account data-entry for specific versions.

If the font is green and the background is gray, the time period has actuals overlay. We always lock actuals overlay. | Move back the actuals overlay through version settings. See Concept: Actuals Overlay.
As a sheet user, you can select the actuals version and change the data there. |
It's a linked account. We always lock linked accounts. | Unlink the account, which removes data from the account for all versions, even locked version. This doesn't affect archived versions. See Add Links or Link Overrides to Accounts.
As a sheet user, you can right-click and select Explore Cell to find the source account and edit the data from there. |
If it's a standard sheet, the account is read-only for the sheet in the sheet settings. |
