Enable Configurable Workflows
- Enable Hubs in Adaptive Planning. See Enable Adaptive Planning Hubs.
- Security:
- Edit Hubspermission.
- Manage Workflowspermission.
Configurable approvals using workflows provide enhanced capabilities for governing planning cycles, tracking planning contributions, enforcing authorization rules, and identifying bottlenecks. This feature offers greater flexibility and control over your organization's planning processes compared to the legacy workflow and process tracker.
When you enable configurable workflows, we disable and remove the legacy Workflow and Process Tracker. This resets all legacy workflows and deletes all legacy processes.
All tenants provisioned after 2026R1 automatically receive this functionality by default, and you don’t have to enable it or remove any legacy functionality.
- SelectAdministrationfrom the main menu.
- SelectGeneral Setup.
- Select theEnable Configurable Workflowscheck box.
- SelectSave.
We remove these items and functionalities from your tenant because they belong to the legacy workflow and process tracker features:

We don’t automatically assign the new Manage Workflows permission to users with the Manage Processes permission before we remove it. Security administrators must manually assign the new permission. |
