Troubleshooting: Adaptive Planning Hubs

This section provides guidance for resolving common issues users and administrators may encounter while configuring or using Hubs.

I don’t see the “Hubs” option in the navigation menu

  • Your user type does not include the
    Access Hubs
    and
    Access Dashboards
    permissions.
  • Confirm that your user type has
    Access Hubs
    ,
    Access Dashboards
    , and
    Edit Hubs
    permissions (if applicable).

Hubs is visible but no hubs are available

  • A hub hasn't been shared with you.
  • You don’t have permissions to access the content within the hub.
  • The widgets or pages reference dimensions or filters outside your security scope.
  • Ask the hub administrator to confirm the hub status as Published.
  • Check with your admin to ensure you’re included in the hub visibility list.
  • Verify that context filters are set to a level or version you have access to.

Page links return “Access Denied” or open the wrong content

  • The page or group link references outdated IDs or incorrect hub parameters.
  • Your access permissions have changed since the link was configured.
  • Report the affected page to your admin; they may need to update the mapping.
  • Confirm that your assigned user type still includes access to that page or level.

Hub loads slowly or hangs

  • The hub contains a large number of widgets, pages, or integrations.
  • Browser cache or session data is outdated.
  • Limit hubs to fewer than 20 total components (pages, widgets, links).
  • Clear your browser cache and refresh.
  • If persistent, open a support ticket and include hub name, approximate size, and timestamp of issue.

I can’t share a hub with my team

  • Only administrators can share hubs.
  • You are assigned a Viewer or Contributor user type.
  • Contact a hub administrator to request sharing access.
  • Confirm the correct user type is included under the hub
    Access
    ,
    Available To
    list.

I have access to a hub that has been shared with me but the hub is blank (no pages, links, or widgets)

  • You don’t have permission to access the content within the hub.
  • The widgets or pages reference dimensions or filters outside your security scope.
  • Ask the hub administrator to confirm the hub status as Shared.
  • Check with your admin to ensure you’re included in the hub access list.
  • Verify that context filters are set to a level or version you have access to.

The Workflow widget doesn’t display my assigned tasks

  • Workflow types shown in the widget are limited by configuration.
  • You are not an assigned participant in the active workflow.
  • The workflow instance is in draft or archived status.
  • Ask your administrator if the Workflow widget includes your assigned workflow type.
  • Refresh the page or clear your browser cache; workflow states update dynamically.
  • Verify that your workflows are published and active.
