Troubleshooting: Adaptive Planning Hubs
This section provides guidance for resolving common issues users and administrators may encounter while configuring or using Hubs.
I don’t see the “Hubs” option in the navigation menu
- Your user type does not include theAccess HubsandAccess Dashboardspermissions.
- Confirm that your user type hasAccess Hubs,Access Dashboards, andEdit Hubspermissions (if applicable).
Hubs is visible but no hubs are available
- A hub hasn't been shared with you.
- You don’t have permissions to access the content within the hub.
- The widgets or pages reference dimensions or filters outside your security scope.
- Ask the hub administrator to confirm the hub status as Published.
- Check with your admin to ensure you’re included in the hub visibility list.
- Verify that context filters are set to a level or version you have access to.
Page links return “Access Denied” or open the wrong content
- The page or group link references outdated IDs or incorrect hub parameters.
- Your access permissions have changed since the link was configured.
- Report the affected page to your admin; they may need to update the mapping.
- Confirm that your assigned user type still includes access to that page or level.
Hub loads slowly or hangs
- The hub contains a large number of widgets, pages, or integrations.
- Browser cache or session data is outdated.
- Limit hubs to fewer than 20 total components (pages, widgets, links).
- Clear your browser cache and refresh.
- If persistent, open a support ticket and include hub name, approximate size, and timestamp of issue.
I can’t share a hub with my team
- Only administrators can share hubs.
- You are assigned a Viewer or Contributor user type.
- Contact a hub administrator to request sharing access.
- Confirm the correct user type is included under the hubAccess,Available Tolist.
I have access to a hub that has been shared with me but the hub is blank (no pages, links, or widgets)
- You don’t have permission to access the content within the hub.
- The widgets or pages reference dimensions or filters outside your security scope.
- Ask the hub administrator to confirm the hub status as Shared.
- Check with your admin to ensure you’re included in the hub access list.
- Verify that context filters are set to a level or version you have access to.
The Workflow widget doesn’t display my assigned tasks
- Workflow types shown in the widget are limited by configuration.
- You are not an assigned participant in the active workflow.
- The workflow instance is in draft or archived status.
- Ask your administrator if the Workflow widget includes your assigned workflow type.
- Refresh the page or clear your browser cache; workflow states update dynamically.
- Verify that your workflows are published and active.
