Create Adaptive Planning Hubs

permission.When creating hubs, consider these recommendations and best practices:
- Align by user types or groups: Create hubs that map to functions (Finance, HR, Operations) and share only with relevant user types to keep navigation simple.
- Review regularly: Audit hub visibility quarterly to ensure correct access.
- Use templates: For repeating structures (like regional hubs), clone existing hubs and adjust visibility rather than recreate from scratch.
- Leverage Slack integration: For teams using Slack, enable notifications when hubs are shared or updated for quick awareness.
After you create a hub:
- It automatically includes a default home or overview page populated with pre-configured widgets to get you started
- You automatically land on the hub overview page in edit mode. The overview page includes these widgets:
- Text
- Performance Summary
- Workflows (after you enable and set up Configurable Workflows)
- SelectHubsfrom the main menu.
- Click+ New Hub(plus circle icon).
- Enter these details:
Option Description NameAn unique and descriptive name such as “Finance Hub”.DescriptionOptionally, add a short summary describing the purpose of the hub. - In the empty text widget, add instructions, timelines, or information for the hub viewers.
- Configure thePerformance SummaryAI widget:
- Select the accounts that you want to include in the AI-driven performance analysis. You can specify user-friendly account names, colors, and additional actions such as removal.
- Set the version, time alignment, and period for the performance analysis.
- Enable theWorkday Assistant Summaryoption and clickDone.
- Configure the Workflow widget. See Steps: Set Up Configurable Workflows.After you configure and set up Configurable Workflows, you seeWorkflowswidget display in the hub.
