Create Conditional Formatting Rules

permission.You can create multiple conditional formatting rules in a chart. These rules evaluate from the
bottom up. The order of rules matter when rules evaluate to true on the same data
point. The order of the rules determine how formatting applies.
- From theAppearance Settingstab, expand theConditional Formattingsection.
- ClickAdd rule.
- Define the rule.
- Build the expression.Example:[Quick Ratio] >= 19, whereQuick Ratiois the name of a data series in the chart.
- Select the highlight color to format data points when the condition is true.
- To evaluate a series using this rule, select the data series.
- (Optional) Drag and drop rules to reorder them.
To get a more predictable outcome, use comparison operators to establish boundaries. Arrange the
rules in the order you want them to evaluate.
