FAQ: Why does my chart of accounts load error out?
A common error when loading a chart of accounts indicates:
Unable to add a new account without providing its parent
account.
This error means that the loader attempted to create an account that didn't have a parent
account to roll up to. Accounts that don't roll up are root accounts. You can't
create new root accounts in Workday Adaptive Planning.
To load these accounts, populate a parent account for them to roll up to.
