Steps: Build Cube and Merged Cube Sheets
- Create the dimensions, attributes, and levels you want to add to the sheet. See Create Attributes, Create Custom Dimensions, and Steps: Create Levels.
- If you're building merged cube sheets, create the source sheets. Source sheets can be modeled or cube sheets. You can merge up to 3 sheets.
- Security:Model includes: sheets, accounts, dimensions, and formulaspermission.
Build cube sheets and merged cube sheets to model complex forecasting for your team. Cube sheets can contain multi-dimensional data input across a specified set of dimensions. They provide sheet users several viewing options and filters to help them find the cells they need.
- (Merged sheets only) Select Source Sheets for Merged Cube Sheets.
- (Optional) Create Accounts Groups for Cube Sheets.Groups help organize accounts on the sheet. Example: You can group the data entry accounts and calculated accounts separately.
- You can add general ledger and custom accounts to the cube sheet after you make the accounts cube-entered. In the account settings, forData Entry Sheet Type, clickCube.
- When you don't need to add custom dimensions or attributes to the sheet, consider creating a standard sheet with custom accounts.
- By default, the sheet has all available time periods.
- Add levels, accounts, dimensions, and attributes to the sheet.You can also hide cube accounts so they don't display on the sheet.
- (Optional) From the toolbar, clickSheet Properties.In theSheet Propertiesyou can:
- Set the time strata.
- Change the sheet details.
- Manage other settings that help improve the performance and useability of the sheet.
- (Optional) Set Restrictions for Cube Sheets.Hide specific data points. Cube restrictions are not available for merged cube sheets.
- (For user-assigned sheets only) Assign the sheet to users.

Sheets Overview
.Get data into the cube sheet:
- Import data with a spreadsheet.
- Use the integration loaders to import data.
- Enter data in the sheet from theSheetsmenu.
