Set Password Requirements

New password requirements apply to existing users only the next time they need to change their passwords. To force users to change their passwords, you can temporarily adjust these fields:
- Password Valid for
- Expiration warning
Example: If you specify 5 days, users get that much time to change their passwords. Workday prompts them to do so when they sign in. After the specified time is complete, you can then extend the settings.
Always research and use current password management practices.

Then enter a maximum of 1440 minutes (24 hours) in the field to the right. The system locks an account if users try to sign in 10 times within a 24-hour period.
